Job summary

Canadian Tire in Toronto, ON seeks a Martech Platform Engineer for a 12-month contract to design and operate enterprise-grade data pipelines and activation solutions within the Adobe Experience Cloud.

You will own AEP, AJO, and CJA deployments, build RTCDP capabilities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver personalized experiences, governance, and scalable data modeling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years in data engineering, marketing tech, or CDP
• 2+ years hands-on with one or more Adobe platforms: AEP, AJO, CJA, or ADobe Real-Time CDP
• Strong SQL skills and experience with large-scale data
• Experience with ETL/ELT, API integrations, and enterprise data pipelines
• Familiarity with Adobe XDM and identity namespaces
• Exposure to cloud data platforms (Azure, Databricks, BigQuery) and scripting (Python/Java)
• Understanding of privacy and compliance frameworks including consent management

Responsibilities

• Design and configure solutions on AEP, AJO, and CJA
• Build and optimize AJO journeys and audience orchestration
• Develop scalable data pipelines for batch and near real-time ingestion
• Design and maintain XDM schemas and identity strategies
• Integrate AEP/AJO/CJA with CRM, data warehouses, and SDKs
• Monitor platform health and investigate data-quality incidents
• Apply data governance, privacy, and security standards
• Collaborate with marketing, analytics, architecture, and engineering teams
• Create and maintain runbooks and technical design documents
