Blakes, one of Canada's largest and most successful law firms, is seeking a Marketing Technology Administrator to join the Marketing Technology & Operations team within the Client Relations & Marketing department in Toronto. This is a 12-month contract position.

Role Overview

The Marketing Technology Administrator will be responsible for comprehensive management of the Firm’s CRM system, including data cleansing and maintenance. The team focuses on enhancing the marketing technology infrastructure, overseeing data/reporting capabilities, and improving marketing operations.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. CRM Database Management (80%)
  • Conduct data deduplication, standardization, and cleansing activities
  • Maintain data consistency and integrity across systems
  • Enrich records through external research and validation
  • Associate contacts with companies and financial systems
  • Manage undeliverable emails, bounce-backs, and new subscribers
  • Support marketing distribution lists and event attendee tracking
  • Ensure compliance with CASL and GDPR
  • Respond to internal stakeholder requests and document processes
  • Email Marketing Campaigns (Vuture) (10%)
    • Assist with deploying email campaigns, including invitations and newsletters
    • Collaborate with teams to meet deadlines and adhere to brand guidelines
    • Create campaigns using templates and best practices
    • Perform data cleansing and manage campaign workflows
  • Reporting (10%)
    • Generate reports in PDF and Excel formats
    • Analyze and manipulate data using Excel and Power BI
  • Technology Evaluation
    • Participate in assessing new marketing tools
