The Opportunity: Marketing Specialist – Sales & Events

WinSport is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Marketing Specialist – Sales & Events to support our Marketing team in promoting our event spaces, catering services, and the WinSport Event Centre. This role involves developing and executing marketing strategies to increase awareness, bookings, and attendance for various events.

This role suits a strategic thinker who also pays attention to detail, capable of turning plans into action and adapting to changing circumstances.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing plans for WinSport’s Event Facilities and Food & Beverage services
• Create compelling narratives to highlight our spaces and culinary offerings, sharing stories that resonate with diverse audiences
• Manage third-party digital marketing campaigns to meet strategic goals
• Plan and execute small to medium-scale sales and marketing events to showcase our facilities
• Monitor performance metrics and provide insights to optimize strategies
• Collaborate with Sales, Event Services, and Food & Beverage teams to ensure cohesive messaging and goals
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to quality and deadlines
• Manage event listings on platforms and directories to maximize visibility
• Contribute innovative ideas to enhance visual communication strategies

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
• 3–5 years of marketing experience, preferably in event, venue, or hospitality marketing
• Strong understanding of the marketing mix across various channels
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Creative mindset with storytelling skills and brand awareness
• Analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making
• Proficiency with marketing tools such as CMS, email platforms, social media, and analytics
• Passion for events, hospitality, and live entertainment is a plus
