The Opportunity

We seek a Marketing Specialist to support our lifecycle marketing efforts, focusing on email and SMS campaigns to boost business and brand loyalty. The role involves creating, managing, and optimizing segmented marketing strategies to enhance lead conversion, engagement, and retention. The ideal candidate is creative, analytical, and passionate about storytelling, design, and data-driven improvements.

The Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage campaigns to nurture customer loyalty and engagement
  • Design, test, and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns and workflows (email, SMS, push notifications)
  • Manage campaign schedules, ensure timely deployment, and maintain quality across devices and channels
  • Ensure compliance with regulations like CPRA and HIPAA
  • Monitor email deliverability, manage sender reputation, and handle technical aspects like DMARC, DKIM, SPF
  • Analyze customer data to identify segments based on behavior and demographics
  • Manage marketing tools and assist in implementing new technologies
  • Track and analyze campaign performance, conduct A/B testing, and generate reports for continuous improvement
  • Report on appointment bookings and lead conversions
  • Build reports to understand customer trends and behaviors
  • Contribute to team projects, maintaining flexibility for other marketing initiatives
The Candidate
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
  • 3+ years in email/SMS marketing, customer segmentation, or lifecycle marketing
  • Passionate about creating compelling content and user experiences
  • Proven success in developing automated customer journeys across multiple channels
  • Strong HTML/MJML skills for responsive email templates
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (preferably ActiveCampaign)
  • Knowledge of email marketing laws and best practices
  • Proficiency in analytics tools like Google Analytics, Tableau, or Looker
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and a collaborative team player
  • Self-motivated and adaptable to a remote startup environment
  • Experience or knowledge of healthcare industry regulations like HIPAA is a plus
