Job description

Responsibilities

Meritage Homes is seeking a Marketing Specialist for our Gulf Coast Division. The position will oversee the division's marketing efforts in Coastal Mississippi and Coastal Alabama, with future expansion into the Florida Panhandle.

In collaboration with regional marketing leadership and division leadership, the Marketing Specialist will develop and implement the annual marketing plan to achieve the division's business goals.

Responsibilities
  1. Plan and execute local marketing initiatives and sales tools for incentive promotions, community marketing, and agent outreach to support sales efforts.
  2. Oversee new community marketing activities, including vendor relationships, signage, messaging, model merchandising, sales center setup, and events, with regular site visits.
  3. Implement national marketing initiatives locally to maximize results for the division and company.
  4. Execute the company's national agent program and collaborate with Sales Leaders on local outreach strategies, messaging, and events.
  5. Enhance division brand awareness and perception by building relationships and maintaining brand standards.
  6. Track and analyze marketing results to ensure ROI, using data to inform future strategies.
  7. Manage community web presence, ensuring content is current and engaging.
  8. Participate in meetings, manage action items, and provide progress updates.
  9. Monitor marketing expenses against budgets.
  10. Handle administrative tasks like vendor setup and invoice processing.
  11. Support broader marketing initiatives and special projects as needed.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field.
  2. 3+ years marketing experience, preferably in homebuilding or real estate.
  3. Excellent communication skills, with attention to detail in writing, editing, and proofreading.
  4. Strong technical skills, including MS Office, email systems, photo editing, and website management; Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
  5. Highly organized, adaptable, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Team player with cross-functional collaboration skills.
  7. Flexibility to attend evening and weekend events as needed.
