Rimex - Saskatoon is seeking a skilled and experienced sales/marketing professional to join our team. As a Sales/Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for working alongside the Rimex - Langley senior marketing team, developing and implementing digital and print marketing strategies and materials to drive online traffic to a newly developed regional website to increase brand awareness and sales.
Responsibilities
- Coordination, production, and distribution of all marketing materials/initiatives as required
- Enhance existing marketing and communications strategies in collaboration with the Rimex senior marketing team
- Execution of marketing strategies including various mediums including website, social media, digital ads, direct mail and email
- Prepare content required for all marketing and communications materials including both the written copy and visual/graphic needs
- Planning and implementing the development, launch, and management of regional website
- Drives engagement on social media on all channels by managing, creating, and adapting content
- Create all collateral (i.e., sale sheets) for sales team
- Manages the collection of photos as needed
- Responsible for the development of the annual marketing strategy
- Creating and optimizing content for various digital platforms
- Managing social media accounts and engaging with followers
- Monitoring website analytics and making data-driven recommendations
- Follows and upholds Rimex’s branding guidelines and ensures consistency of messaging across all channels
- Keeps informed of evolving and changing social media platforms and best practices and provides strategic direction for how to incorporate those practices into their work
Education And/or Experience- Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications or related program
- Minimum 5 years in a marketing/communications role
Other Skills & Abilities- Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) applications and web-based programs like Canva
- Dreamweaver/Flash/HTML knowledge an asset
- Experience using a Content Management System (CMS) and web analytics tools
- Ability to demonstrate sound judgment; can ask for help and direction when needed in order to achieve deadlines
- Strong organizational skills; individual must be pro-active, goal-oriented and work independently with minimal supervision
- Exceptional communication, organizational, copywriting and proofreading skills
- Ability to write for different audiences and media (print, online, etc.)
- Familiarity with mining and/or manufacturing industries an asset
- Strong work ethic, ability to remain focused and on task
- Experience in public/media relations, direct mail and media buying
