An established regional law firm is seeking a Marketing Manager to join their team based in Berkshire. The role-holder will be responsible for the development and implementation of the firm’s marketing and business development strategy. This is a part-time position of 20 hours per week which can be spread across 3, 4 or 5 days. The nature of this role allows for flexibility and may be attractive to candidates who are looking for a better work-life balance. This is a great opportunity for an experienced marketer looking for a managerial position within the legal industry.

The Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Partner and Department Heads to develop and execute marketing and business development plans to achieve their overall strategy.
  • Responsible for managing the marketing budget and analysing market data and research insights to drive growth.
  • Create and implement targeted marketing campaigns and events aimed at raising the firm’s profile and attracting new business.
  • Organise and attend client hospitality events, networking events, and hosted events as an ambassador of the firm.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all media enquiries and advise on pitch strategy, prepare pitch documents, and manage rehearsals for new business pitches.
  • Manage the client database, content, and relationships to identify opportunities for development and drive growth.
  • Managing the website, social media, and relationships with local media and charities.
  • Prepare reports on firm-wide and practice area marketing activity and review ROI.
  • Ensure that the firm’s brand values are reflected in all marketing materials.

The Candidate:

  • Previous experience and understanding of marketing & BD processes within legal / professional services firms.
  • Experience in managing and hosting events (in-person and virtual), ideally Zoom proficient.
  • Able to work collaboratively with department heads and project groups.
