Hybrid - This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Oshawa Elevation Centre three times per week, at minimum [or other frequency dictated by the business].

Reporting to the National Sales and Marketing Manager – GM Parts, the Marketing Manager GM Parts, is responsible for developing and implementing programs that offer value to GM dealerships while also supporting GM Canada’s sales goals. They work closely with the Product Managers, DMAs, Supply Chain, and the Certified Service team to develop an integrated marketing strategy and adjust programs to respond to changing marketing conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of a national, integrated “Go-To-Market” strategy in partnership with Certified Service Marketing to drive parts sales growth and enable Field Staff and Dealer execution.
  • Build and maintain a year-long marketing and promotional calendar aligned with national objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create business cases for parts marketing and management programs based on data analysis, market trends, and dealer/customer needs.
  • Design and implement programs and processes to support Certified Service campaign execution, including product, promotional, and marketing tools; ensure effective communication with Field and Dealers.
  • Manage and grow CPPP and QMI programs.
  • Monitor Maintenance & Repair sales performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Incorporate Field and Dealer feedback into program development.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and pricing strategies in collaboration with PPD.
  • Develop push and pull marketing programs and administer Dealer and Service Consultant incentive programs.
  • Provide marketing support tools and assist in setting parts sales objectives.
  • Collect, analyze, and report data to inform business decisions; deliver actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Develop and implement an eCommerce strategy to enhance digital engagement.
Budget Management
  • Manage and monitor the Parts Marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Training & Support
  • Set agendas for Open Mic meetings, including training and best-practice schedules.
  • Provide business and system support to internal teams and assist customers with GM applications and marketing promotions.
  • Publish bulletins and communications as required.
  • Promote dealer awareness and participation in key programs such as Fall Tire Booking, Pre-mount Winter Tire, and CPPP.
  • Deliver integration, content, and support for Service Plus Training initiatives.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
  • Successfully obtained a University degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Previous field sales experience.
  • Experience working with Dealer Fixed Operation Business Processes.
  • Previous Central Office Marketing Experience and familiarity with Marketing Processes.
  • Strong Interpersonal, oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and manage several projects at the same time.
  • Extensive analytical capability & experience with managing department/project budgets.
  • Provide guidance on programs to be leveraged by field team members.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • Lead by influence.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Knowledge of GMCC Customer Care & Aftersales processes and systems.
  • Field Experience in Customer Care and Aftersales.
  • Knowledge of US Customer Care and Aftersales functions, key people, and processes.
  • Knowledge of Cognos, Service Workbench, GM Parts Sales Reporting System (SRS).
