About Boast

Boast is redefining how companies across Canada and the U.S. access R&D funding, turning a complex, manual, and audit-prone process into a streamlined, scalable engine for growth. By combining deep tax expertise with our purpose-built AI, Boast helps clients capture the full value of their R&D, organize the evidence behind it, and build high-quality, defensible claims. Our technology reduces manual data collection and administrative work, so client conversations focus on what teams are building, the problems they’re solving, and where they want to go next. This model sets Boast apart by giving our experts the insight needed to tailor each claim strategy to the client’s current needs, R&D roadmap, and broader business objectives. Since 2011, Boast has helped more than 2,000 businesses access over $675 million in innovation capital.

At Boast, you are directly connected to innovation. Our teams work alongside founders, engineers, product teams, and R&D leaders from an exceptionally diverse range of companies and industries. That means exposure to fascinating science and technology, closer client partnerships, and the chance to secure funding that can be genuinely meaningful to a client’s growth. You’ll be trusted to take ownership, follow your curiosity, and help shape the evolution of Boast’s technology-enabled service.

Beyond our product, we’ve built Traction, a community of over 90,000 technology professionals connecting leaders from companies like Google, Shopify, Twilio, and GitHub through webinars, meetups, and an annual conference.

Boast has secured $123M USD in funding and has been featured in TechCrunch, VentureBeat, Fox Business, and Forbes.
