Job description

Open Vacancy: This role is a current, active position and we are accepting applications.

Our client is large growing safety consulting organization who truly impact and saves lives. As the organization continues to grow, they are looking to add a Marketing Manager to build and lead their marketing function.

About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on, builder-minded Marketing Manager to build and lead the marketing engine from the ground up. This is not a role where you inherit a polished machine. It’s an opportunity to create, test, improve, and see the direct impact of your work on brand awareness, demand, and growth.

You’ll translate business priorities into campaigns, content, digital experiences, and marketing systems that support growth. Working closely with Sales, Operations, Client Success, and Leadership, you’ll lead a small marketing team while managing multiple priorities across a portfolio of brands.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both strategy and execution: someone who can see the big picture, make decisions, and then roll up their sleeves to get the work done.

What You’ll Do:
Build the Marketing Function
  • Build the programs, processes, tools, and materials needed to create a scalable marketing function.
  • Establish clear priorities, plans, KPIs, and ownership across marketing initiatives.
  • Bring structure and momentum to a growing marketing function while continuously improving how the team operates.
Content & Campaigns
  • Own content across the website, blog, case studies, email, social, and other relevant channels.
  • Develop and execute integrated campaigns from strategy through measurement and optimization.
  • Translate complex ideas into clear, compelling, on-brand content that supports awareness, demand generation, and sales.
Brand & Digital
  • Manage marketing across multiple brands, understanding when brands require distinct positioning versus a more unified approach.
  • Own multiple websites as key marketing and lead-generation assets, ensuring content, messaging, user experience, and conversion opportunities are continuously improved.
  • Support SEO, conversion optimization, analytics, and other digital marketing initiatives.
AI, Automation & Innovation
  • Use AI, automation, and emerging tools to improve marketing efficiency, output, and scalability.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and build smarter, more automated ways of working.
Sales Enablement & Marketing Operations
  • Develop practical sales enablement materials including decks, one-pagers, case studies, and other supporting content.
  • Partner closely with Sales and Client Success to align marketing with customer needs and opportunities.
  • Manage marketing technology, CRM, reporting, and performance metrics to demonstrate marketing’s impact on growth.
Team Leadership & Continuous Improvement
  • Lead and prioritize marketing contributors, creating clarity, accountability, and focus.
  • Use customer insights, market feedback, and performance data to test, learn, and continuously improve marketing programs and processes.
What You Bring:
  • 5+ years of B2B and B2C marketing experience, ideally in a growth-stage, entrepreneurial, or build-from-scratch environment.
  • Experience managing multiple brands or working across house-of-brands and branded-house models.
  • Proven experience building and executing marketing programs and integrated campaigns.
  • Strong end-to-end marketing skills across content, digital, campaigns, brand, and sales enablement.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality content independently.
  • Experience leading marketing contributors and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing technology, CRM, analytics, and automation tools.
  • Practical experience using AI to improve marketing workflows, productivity, or output.
  • Strong project management, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • Data-driven approach with a focus on measurable results.
  • High ownership, initiative, and comfort working in ambiguity.
  • Ability to move quickly, make decisions, and get into the details when needed.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with HubSpot, Zoho, WordPress, Google Analytics, Zapier, Clay, or similar tools.
  • Experience building marketing automation or AI-powered workflows.
  • Experience in B2B services, professional services, training, technology, construction, or safety.
  • Experience with paid media, SEO, conversion optimization, or marketing analytics.
  • Experience managing external agencies, vendors, or freelancers.
