Qualifications

• Experience with Canva and familiarity with AI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support internal communications via Workvivo, TV channels and other channels.
• Create and coordinate social media content for campaigns.
• Assist with event logistics and planning.
• Provide administrative support for podcast production.
• Support other marketing initiatives as needed and develop ideas for product lines.

Marketing Intern

Location: Sydney, Nova Scotia

Term: Work-Term, until the end of December 2026

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Anticipated Start Date: September 21, 2026

Are you creative, curious, and looking to gain hands‑on marketing experience? At Protocase Inc. and 45Drives Ltd., we're looking for a Marketing Intern to join our team in Sydney, Nova Scotia.

This is an opportunity to contribute to real marketing projects, develop your skills, and work alongside a collaborative team while supporting two growing companies.

About The Role

As our Marketing Intern, you'll support the Protocase and 45Drives marketing team across a variety of projects, including:

• Supporting internal communications through Workvivo, company TVs, and other channels.
• Creating and coordinating social media content.
• Assisting with event logistics.
• Providing behind‑the‑scenes administrative support for podcast production.
• Supporting other marketing initiatives as needed.
• Researching and developing marketing ideas for specific product lines and capabilities.

You’ll also have opportunities to take ownership of projects and develop tangible tactics and strategies that support company growth.

About You

Our Ideal Candidate

• Has a degree or diploma in Marketing or a related field, or relevant experience and/or a keen interest in marketing.
• Is a strong written and verbal communicator.
• Is organized with excellent attention to detail.
• Has excellent computer skills and is comfortable learning new technology.
• Has experience with AI tools — a major asset.
• Has experience with Canva — an asset.
• Can follow instructions while also taking initiative.
• Is a self‑starter who enjoys challenges and works well as part of a team.

Compensation

This internship offers a base wage of $19 CAD per hour, with the opportunity to earn additional incentives based on performance. Incentives are tied to project execution, campaign support, and measurable contributions, allowing interns to increase their earnings through strong engagement and results. This structure is designed to reward initiative while providing meaningful, hands‑on experience.
