Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Marketing Director with a robust B2B background to lead the development and execution of our marketing strategies. This role will manage a team of marketing professionals and work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales and product, to generate awareness, build demand, and drive growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the communications or tech industry, a proven track record in content-heavy marketing, Salesforce expertise, and experience leading partner programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Design and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the business's growth objectives.
  • Guide the team in building integrated marketing campaigns that generate leads, enhance brand awareness, and support sales efforts.
  • Coach and mentor team members, ensuring continuous growth, performance, and motivation.

Content Marketing & Messaging:

  • Oversee the creation and distribution of content across multiple channels, ensuring the content resonates with our B2B audience.
  • Develop clear, concise, and compelling messaging for marketing materials, presentations, white papers, and case studies that position Algo Communications as an industry leader.
  • Collaborate with the sales and product teams to ensure content addresses customer pain points and aligns with business needs.
  • Leverage Salesforce to track marketing campaigns, analyze performance data, and optimize for maximum impact.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing activities.
  • Use data insights to inform marketing strategy and provide actionable feedback to the team.

Partner Programs & Ecosystem Development:

  • Manage and enhance existing partner programs, creating co-marketing opportunities to drive joint growth.
  • Work closely with key channel partners to align marketing efforts, including digital campaigns, content creation, and events.
  • Develop strategies to expand the partner ecosystem and improve collaboration with external stakeholders.

Hands-On Marketing Execution:

  • Stay actively involved in the execution of high-priority campaigns and initiatives.
  • Ensure marketing efforts are efficiently executed through multiple channels such as digital advertising, email marketing, events, and social media.
  • Provide hands-on guidance to the team in managing and optimizing campaigns for lead generation, brand awareness, and customer retention.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with significant experience in the communications, tech, or UCaaS industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and coach a diverse marketing team.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce, marketing automation, and analytics tools to track and optimize campaign performance.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute content-heavy, data-driven marketing strategies in the B2B space.
  • Experience in building and managing partner programs, driving co-marketing initiatives, and nurturing external relationships.
  • Hands-on marketing expertise with a focus on execution in areas like content marketing, digital advertising, email campaigns, and events.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data insights to refine marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to and influence stakeholders at all levels.

The pay range for this role is:

120,000 - 130,000 CAD per year (Canadian HQ)
