Job summary

Oshtugon Computers LP in Northwestern Ontario is seeking a Marketing Coordinator – Customer Engagement to support marketing, advertising, promotions, and community outreach.

You will manage content for social media, create promotional materials, coordinate events, and help drive store traffic and sales while building strong relationships with customers and First Nations communities.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field is preferred. A combination of relevant experience demonstrated skills, creativity, initiative, and potential will also be considered.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of social media and digital marketing.
• Creative, organized, and self-motivated.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience with marketing, graphic design, Canva, photography, video, or content creation would be considered an asset.
• Retail, sales, or customer engagement experience would be considered an asset.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel between locations would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate marketing, advertising, and promotional activities.

• Promote special-order products and services.
• Assist with website and digital marketing content.
• Support community, First Nation, business, and organizational outreach.
• Assist with trade shows and community events.
• Work with management and staff to identify products and inventory requiring promotion.
• Track marketing activities and customer engagement.
• Develop and bring forward new marketing and promotional ideas.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Position Summary

The Marketing Coordinator – Customer Engagement is responsible for supporting Oshtugon’s marketing, advertising, promotions, and customer engagement activities. This position will help increase awareness of Oshtugon, strengthen customer and community relationships, promote products and services, and support overall sales and business growth.
