Job description

You have
  • A knack for fostering positive relationships with all stakeholders—shopping centre customers, tenants, suppliers, and team members.
  • Attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to multi-task.

You will
  • Develop, organize, and execute advertising, promotions, and special events for Sunnycrest Mall.
  • Assist in designing, writing content, and creating promotional materials.
  • Manage social media communities through regular, engaging content creation.
  • Coordinate bookings for non-profit and community groups, managing insurance and third-party requirements.
  • Maintain Sunnycrest Mall’s brand image and promote its visibility.
  • Build strong relationships with tenants, vendors, and customers, providing proactive, exemplary service.
  • Serve as the main contact for tenant inquiries and maintenance requests.
  • Review, code, and track accounts payable invoices.
  • Follow up on tenant rental payments, assist with rent collections, and handle tenant invoicing and inquiries.
  • Collect tenant insurance certificates and ensure compliance.
  • Prepare welcome packages, tenant notices, and correspondence.
  • Assist the Property Manager with tenant move-ins and move-outs.
  • Monitor tenant sales reports and disburse percentage rent invoices.
  • Perform general reception duties (answer phones, greet guests, organize supplies, handle mail and courier packages).
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
You have
  • Previous experience in event planning and social media management.
  • At least 2+ years’ experience as an administrative assistant.
  • Knowledge of the local community is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Excel.
  • Understanding of Yardi or the ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • A sense of humor.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work occasional weekends and evenings.

Salary range: $60,000 - $65,000

Location: Sunnycrest Mall - 900 Gibsons Way, Gibsons, BC V0N 1V7
