About the opportunity :

Sportball, North America’s leading franchisor of youth multi-sport programs, is seeking an emerging marketing professional to join us as a Marketing Coordinator. You will support the Head of Marketing in executing our brand vision and go-to-market strategy, collaborating closely with leadership and franchisees to bring innovative ideas to life. This role offers a blend of strategic thinking, execution, and creativity within a small, entrepreneurial team, shaping the future of a mission-driven, international brand with a strong community culture.

Position requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years' experience in marketing, brand management, or agency work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; French is an asset
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

Responsibilities :

  • Maintain consistency of Sportball’s brand across all markets.
  • Assist the Head of Marketing with planning and executing brand campaigns, managing marketing calendars, creating content (email, social media, blogs, website), coordinating with freelance partners, maintaining and enhancing the website, managing partnerships, overseeing marketing assets, measuring campaign effectiveness, and managing budgets.
  • Provide franchisees with access to marketing resources, assets, and guidance to support their local growth.
  • Support marketing initiatives for Sportball’s corporate locations (GTA & Calgary), including planning, executing, and measuring campaigns to meet growth targets.
  • Collaborate with the franchisor marketing team to share insights, strategies, and assets to strengthen overall marketing efforts.
