Job summary

New Horizon Co-op in Grande Prairie, Alberta, is seeking a Full-Time Marketing Assistant at our Resource Office. The role supports content creation, marketing projects, and event execution to help grow our Western Canadian communities.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma and 1–3 years in a similar role, plus strong Microsoft Office skills. You’ll work Mon–Fri 8:00am–5:00pm, with occasional evenings or weekends, and must have a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 1–3 years in a similar role/office environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint & Word)
• Ability to work in a deadline driven, fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and organization
• Excellent organization skills with strong attention to detail
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Available to work Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm with occasional evenings/weekends
• Must have a valid drivers license

Responsibilities

• Assist with administrative tasks including copying, laminating and ordering supplies
• Assist with and contribute to writing, editing, designing, proofing and production of content and visuals for New Horizon website, social media channels, in-house print, and other communications according to New Horizon Co-op standards and formats
• Support the Marketing and Communications department with development, implementation and maintenance of assigned projects or programs
• Assist in planning and executing marketing and communications events
• Assist with the Kids Club and Community Builder Programs
• Ensure content and material aligns with the company’s vision, mission, values, and business goals
• Other duties as assigned
