Job summary

Leon’s Furniture, a long-standing Canadian home furnishings retailer, is expanding its Toronto-area marketing team. The role focuses on coordinating national, regional and store campaigns, managing timelines, and driving data-driven promotional insights.

You will collaborate across Merchandising, Operations, Digital, and Stores to deliver campaigns, analyze sales performance, and support events from openings to activations in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, or Communications.
  • 2–3 years in marketing, promotions, retail marketing or a related environment.
  • Strong organizational, project coordination and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with agencies, vendors and production partners is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate national, regional and store-level marketing campaigns, promotions and seasonal programs.
  • Manage campaign timelines, deliverables, approvals and communications.
  • Maintain marketing and promotional calendars and coordinate marketing materials across print, digital and in-store channels.
  • Support contests, promotional programs and customer-facing activations.
  • Analyze promotional and sales performance to identify trends and insights.
  • Prepare performance reports and dashboards to measure results against objectives.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support promotional planning.
  • Coordinate with agencies, printers, production suppliers, media partners and other vendors.
  • Obtain quotes, coordinate production requirements and track timelines, costs and deliveries.
  • Ensure projects move smoothly from planning and approval through production and execution.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact timelines or deliverables.
  • Support the planning and execution of store events, promotional activations, openings and other marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate event materials, signage, promotional items and logistics.
  • Provide support on special projects as required.
  • Work closely with Merchandising, Operations, Digital, Creative, E-Commerce and Stores to deliver marketing initiatives.
  • Assist with budget tracking, invoice reconciliation, reporting and project documentation.
  • Maintain organized campaign, vendor and marketing records.

Responsibilities:
Marketing & Promotions
  • Coordinate national, regional and store-level marketing campaigns, promotions and seasonal programs.
  • Manage campaign timelines, deliverables, approvals and communications.

Retail & In-Store Marketing
  • Coordinate the development, production and rollout of in-store signage and promotional materials.
  • Communicate campaign requirements and timelines to stores and support store-level marketing requests.
  • Support new store openings, reopenings, special events and other retail initiatives.
  • Track execution and follow up on outstanding requirements.
Performance Marketing & Data Analysis
  • Analyze promotional and sales performance to identify trends and insights.
  • Prepare performance reports and dashboards to measure results against objectives.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support promotional planning.
  • Coordinate with agencies, printers, production suppliers, media partners and other vendors.

Requirements:

Compensation:

$45,000/yr to $55,000/yr
