Wisematic Inc. is a fast-growing technology and consulting company headquartered in Toronto. We specialize in data-driven business solutions for clients across various industries. We are currently seeking a highly analytical and strategic Marketing Analyst to join our team and support our business development initiatives through data analysis and market research.

Position Summary

As a Marketing Analyst at Wisematic Inc., you will be responsible for conducting in-depth market and consumer research to inform strategic decisions that drive business growth. You will analyze industry trends, assess market potential, and support the development of marketing and business development strategies. Your insights will directly influence product positioning, campaign effectiveness, and customer acquisition strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and conduct market surveys and questionnaires to research customer preferences, data on sought after IT capabilities in the market.
  • Analyze customer requirement posts, RFQs and industry data to identify emerging trends and hot opportunities for growth.
  • Evaluate the performance of marketing and promotional campaigns and provide recommendations for improvement in positioning and pricing.
  • Respond proactively to enquiries from potential customers
  • Evaluate government grants / industry benefits for startups and similarly sized organizations
  • Review certifications available in industry which can aid in business development
  • Develop social and economic profiles of target markets and clients in sync with company aspirations
  • Assess business opportunities and recommend actionable strategies to support market entry and expansion efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the planning and execution of business development projects.
  • Respond to inquiries from business stakeholders regarding market trends and development opportunities.
  • Review and evaluate potential commercial or industrial development proposals.
  • Prepare comprehensive market research reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the development and application of e-commerce and digital marketing strategies.
  • Provide consultative support to startup ventures and internal teams on go-to-market strategies.
  • Evaluate customer experience and provide recommendations to enhance service environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 0-2 years of experience in marketing research, data analysis, or business development.
  • Strong understanding of market research methodologies and data analysis tools.
  • Basic understanding of SEO based marketing, e-commerce strategies and contracting terms
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or similar data analytics software.
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic business environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
