Job summary

Ignition Marine seeks an experienced Marine Welder/Fabricator to handle fabrication, repair, modification, and installation of metal components on pleasure yachts, commercial vessels, and marine equipment. You will apply marine-grade welding skills and blueprint interpretation to deliver high-quality craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of welding and fabrication experience within the marine/shipyard sector.
• Technical mastery in TIG, MIG, and Stick welding on aluminum, stainless steel, and mild steel.
• Certifications: Red Seal Welder Certification and/or CWB Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on marine-grade materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Fabricate, repair, and modify metal structures and components.
• Install fabricated components aboard vessels and assist with vessel refits and repairs.
• Ensure weld quality meets marine industry standards and safety regulations.
