Job summary

Ignition Marine Service in North Vancouver and Richmond seeks an experienced Marine Parts Specialist to join their parts and inventory operations. You will identify, source, quote, order, and coordinate marine parts to keep technicians supplied and on schedule.

Reporting to the Parts Manager, you will manage supplier relationships, research obsolete parts, and collaborate with technicians and service advisors to deliver accurate quotations with rapid ETAs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in marine parts and service.
• Strong knowledge of marine engines and propulsion systems.
• Experience using inventory management systems and ERP databases.
• Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• High attention to detail to minimize ordering errors.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify marine parts and source components for work orders.
• Prepare purchase orders and track backorders to prevent delays.
• Receive, inspect, label, and store incoming parts.
• Prepare accurate parts quotations and ETAs.
• Research obsolete or specialized parts and propose alternatives.
• Coordinate with the Parts Assistant on daily activities.
