Atlantic Electronics Ltd. is seeking a Marine Electronics Service Technician to join our Lunenburg team.

The role involves installing, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing radar, GPS/chartplotters, echolocation gear, VHF, vessel computers, and networking systems on vessels and at client sites around Atlantic Canada. Based in Lunenburg, NS, you will travel to customer locations, shipyards, and ports, with possible early mornings, evenings, and on-call times.

Qualifications

• Technically minded, strong problem solver with a willingness to learn new tech.
• Willing to travel and work overtime as needed.
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Comfortable aboard vessels, in shipyards, and in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of marine electronics.
• Work in the Lunenburg shop, aboard vessels, at customer locations, shipyards, and ports in the region.
• Ensure reliable operation of radar, GPS/chartplotters, sonar, radio, and vessel computer systems.
• Interact professionally with customers and provide on-site solutions.
