Position Summary

The Housing First ICM Team Leader oversees the daily operations and development of clinical operations, leading an inclusive, collaborative, learning-oriented transdisciplinary team that is collectively committed to the program model, values, and the best possible service for the client. Reporting to the Director, Clinical Services (DCS), the ICM Team Leader develops, implements, monitors, and evaluates the clinical program, in alignment with RainCity principles, policies, and practices. They participate in hiring, dismissal, discipline, development, and performance evaluations of ICM staff.

The Housing First ICM Team Leader plays a lead role in program implementation, informed by RainCity principles, policies, and the program framework; and is responsible for continuous improvement. They promote the interests of the client population and the program in the community and ensure appropriate integration with other systems of care. The role also includes providing direct counseling services to clients.

The ICM Team Leader is part of the RainCity management team and works closely with staff, Program Managers, Building / Facility Operations, HR Business Partners, and Administrative staff.

Salary : $86,985.60 annually ($41.82 hourly)

Start Date : ASAP

Schedule : Monday – Friday, 8 : 30 am – 4 : 30 pm, with participation in after-hours on-call rotation. Schedule flexible to meet program needs.

Program Summary

Maple Ridge ICM supports people with serious mental illness and substance use issues through a 'housing first' scattered-site approach, offering immediate rent supplements and emphasizing self-determination and choice.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, health services administration, or related field
  • At least 7 years of experience delivering services to individuals with mental health, substance use, and physical health issues; including 2 years of supervising or managing programs, budgeting, policy development, and labor relations
  • Active registration with a regulatory college under the Health Professions Act (HPA)
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Clear Vulnerable Sector Criminal Reference Check
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Advanced Knowledge In

  • Practices for populations with complex needs, mental health, substance abuse, and homelessness
  • Mental health diagnoses, medications, treatments, and recovery models
  • Physical health issues like HIV and Hepatitis C
  • Housing continuum and program models for special needs
  • Oppression and marginalization, especially regarding Indigenous peoples and those with mental health / substance issues
  • B.C. healthcare and social services system
