Job summary

PowerFlow, a RealTruck company in Magog, QC, is seeking a Material Handler for the Production Department on the night shift (11:00pm-7:00am). Responsibilities include start/stop of production, feeding presses with materials, packing pallets and warehouse turnover.

Candidates should have DES GENERAL, intermediate computer skills, and good French with basic English. Autonomous, diligent and proactive individuals are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Production start/stop support and equipment readiness.
• Assist the fitter and manage materials handling.
• Pack pallets and transport finished pallets in the warehouse.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and dispose of waste.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects when needed.

Material Handler: For Production Department

Shift: Sunday through Thursday (Night Shift)

11:00pm-7:00am

Duties and Responsibilities

1. 1. Production start/stop
   • Assist the fitter.
   • Clean the various equipment.
   • Putting away/taking out boxes of raw materials.
2. 2. Production
   • Perform the change of dyes of the resins.
   • Mix the raw materials by hand or with a blender.
   • Feed the presses with raw materials.
   • Supplying operators with raw materials, boxes, bags and other supplies.
   • Ensure that operators do not run out of equipment throughout the shift.
   • Participate in continuous improvement projects from time to time.
3. 3. Expeditions
   • Pack the pallets.
   • Transport pallets of finished products using the pallet truck.
   • Manage pallet turnover in the warehouse.
4. 4. Maintenance
   • Dispose of waste and recycling.
   • Regrind materials.
   • Clean dryer filters.
   • Unpack boxes of raw materials as needed.
