Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Trainer to lead new-hire orientations and deliver high-quality training on safety, SOP comprehension, and use of basic hand tools across multiple sites.

The role includes maintaining training documentation, evaluating competency, coordinating external training, and driving continuous improvement of the program. The incumbent will train in a production environment, ensure understanding of blueprints, and support safety orientations with the EHS

Qualifications

• Requires CSTS-2020 Certification.
• Experience delivering training, coaching, or mentoring in a workplace setting.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to teach hands-on tasks clearly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver new-hire orientations and ongoing training on policies, safety, SOPs, and tool use.
• Evaluate employee competency and track progress with documentation.
• Develop and update training materials and coordinate external trainings as needed.
• Collaborate with supervisors to identify training needs and schedule sessions across departments.
