DarkVision, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support our manufacturing operations in North Vancouver. This role involves electro-mechanical assembly and testing, providing opportunities to work on cutting-edge technologies in a supportive environment that values employee experience. Our Team

DarkVision develops advanced acoustic imaging platforms for Oil & Gas and industrial asset inspection. Our Manufacturing team builds components and assemblies for ultrasound probes, contributing to innovative solutions in the industry.

What You Will Do

• Assemble small components such as piezo-electric transducers, perform micro-soldering, molding, etc.
• Construct larger research apparatus and core products
• Conduct experiments and validate products, including testing under extreme conditions
• Repair and refurbish ultrasonic scanning tools
• Maintain high quality standards and learn new technologies
• Measure incoming parts against drawings for quality control

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience in product assembly or technical hobbies related to mechanics or electronics
• Soldering skills
• Mechanical aptitude with hands-on assembly experience
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams

What Will Put You Ahead

• Technical certification or diploma in relevant fields such as mechatronics, robotics, electrical, or mechanical engineering
• Experience building components from specifications
• Proficiency with electronic testing equipment like multimeters
• Experience in quality control and soldering under microscopes
• Meticulous, precise, and detail-oriented approach

Compensation

Estimated annual salary ranges from $50,000 to $65,000, with potential variable pay as bonuses or other incentives. Compensation is flexible based on experience and location.
