Job summary

DIRTT Environmental Solutions is seeking detail-oriented Manufacturing Team Members in our Metalshop to assemble metal components and prepare materials for quality and efficiency. You will work with tools and equipment to ensure accurate assembly and maintain a safe workspace while meeting production targets in a fast-paced setting.

This role requires reliability, the ability to read diagrams and drawings, and a readiness to work a 12-hour rotating shift (4 days on, 4 days off).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or a related production environment is an asset.
• Ability to read and interpret basic drawings, diagrams, and work instructions.
• Comfortable using hand tools, measuring tools, and basic production equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift materials as required.
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety and consistent use of PPE.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to efficiently build high-quality metal products.
• Inspect components and finished goods, identifying defects and addressing them in accordance with quality standards.
• Read and interpret basic diagrams, drawings, specifications, and bills of materials to ensure accurate assembly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise to maintain production flow.
• Perform work in compliance with all safety procedures and quality requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, consistently using required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Take precise measurements to ensure proper fit and alignment of components.
• Report equipment malfunctions, material issues, or defective parts promptly.
• Demonstrate strong manual dexterity and the ability to remain active throughout the shift.
• Communicate effectively and manage time and tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Utilize basic computer skills for reporting and production tracking as needed.
