Job summary

The University of Calgary is seeking a Sessional Instructor to teach ENMF 501 Modelling & Simulation of Manufacturing Systems during Winter 2027. The successful candidate will hold a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering with strong teaching credentials and a proven ability to engage automotive engineers and manufacturing students.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Demonstrated background in the subject matter of ENMF 501.
• Very good teaching performance or potential for it.

Responsibilities

• Teach ENMF 501: Modelling & Simulation of Manufacturing Systems for Winter 2027 (Jan 4–Apr 30 2027).
• Deliver lectures and manage course schedule (Lectures: Mon, Wed, Fri 11:00–11:50).
• Assess student work and provide constructive feedback in line with the collective agreement.
