Job summary

University of Calgary invites applications for a Sessional Instructor to teach ENMF 417 Manufacturing and Production Processes in the Winter 2027 term (January 4 – April 30, 2027). The role requires a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering and a demonstrated background in the course material, with strong teaching potential.

Course schedule is Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. Remuneration is as per the Faculty Association agreement.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Demonstrated background in the course subject matter.
• Very good teaching performance or strong potential for teaching excellence.

Responsibilities

• Teach ENMF 417 Manufacturing and Production Processes in the Winter 2027 term (Jan 4–Apr 30, 2027).
• Deliver lectures and assessments for the course, including schedule of classes Mon, Wed, Fri 8:00–8:50 a.m.
