Job summary

The University of Calgary invites applications for a Sessional Instructor to teach ENME339 L01 Engineering Graphics and CAD in the Winter 2027 term (Jan 4 – Apr 30, 2027). The successful candidate will hold a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering and demonstrate strong teaching ability, contributing to student learning in graphics and CAD applications.

Lectures are scheduled Mon, Wed and Fri 9:00 a.m. to 9:50 a.m., with emphasis on technical sketching, orthographic projections, multiviews,

Qualifications

• Must have earned at least a Master's in Mechanical Engineering and demonstrated or potential teaching ability.
• Very good previous teaching performance or potential for excellence in teaching.
• Background in Engineering Graphics and CAD is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Teach ENME339 L01 Engineering Graphics and CAD in the Winter 2027 term.
• Deliver lectures as scheduled: Mon, Wed, Fri 9:00–9:50 a.m.; assess and guide student work.
