Job summary

Opcode is seeking a Project Manager for our Brantford, Ontario area. This full-time role runs from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and focuses on client communication, project budgets, and schedules in close collaboration with our engineering team.

You will lead projects through their life cycles from kickoff to closeout, manage scope and procurement, and coordinate PM meetings. Travel to the US may be required up to one week at a time; ERP experience and strong communication are

Qualifications

• 3+ years North American manufacturing experience in an engineering role.
• 3+ years controls systems design, programming, or commissioning experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to work solo or in teams.
• Located within 45 minutes of Brantford, Ontario.

Responsibilities

• Project management duties: generate reports, update clients, manage scope, schedules, procurement, vendor engagement, work orders and PM meetings.
• Co-manage planning of project resources to support smooth delivery.
• Communicate project status and issues to customers, vendors and internal staff.
• Provide logistics support for component receipt/delivery via ERP systems and BOM.
• Oversee budget tracking including milestone invoicing and cashflow updates to Sr Management.
• Supervise existing staff, onboard new staff and advise on recruitment based on workload.
