Job description

We are hiring for the following shifts:

• Week Nights: Monday – Thursday 9:15 pm – 7:15 am

! Since it is a trainable position, the training will be provided during regular shifts and hours (Monday to Thursday, 7 am to 5 pm) for the first 6 to 8 weeks of employment.

You will be responsible for the following:

• All the training will be provided
• In a team environment, manufacture castings to support our production
• Cutting, sanding, and grinding castings
• Eventually, with all the training provided, you will be able to cast
• Work as a team with other Finishers and Cell Leaders to complete work tasks and meet delivery commitments
• Experience with 5S and Continuous Improvement is an asset

You will possess the following:

• The ability to follow procedures and the willingness to learn new skills
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
• Able to communicate in English (verbal & written)
• Strong sense of teamwork within groups and across the organization
• Must be flexible with working overtime
• Previous exposure to a lean environment is an asset
