Role Summary

The Edging and Mounting Technician is responsible for precise lens edging and mounting, requiring self-reliance, teamwork, and organizational skills. This is a multi-skilled role, working Monday to Friday, during the day shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Cut lenses and mount them in frames
• Restore damaged frames and adapt lens edging accordingly
• Evaluate bevel positions based on lens properties for aesthetic quality
• Perform final inspections to ensure quality standards
• Additional tasks include lens point-checking, special trimming, machine calibration, and versatility in various positions

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; optician's diploma is a plus
• 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of lens and frame types
• Manual precision and accuracy
