Job summary

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting a Manufacturing Manager to lead production operations in a modern Edmonton facility. This leadership role combines workforce development, production planning, and continuous improvement to ensure safe, efficient manufacturing and customer satisfaction.

You will coach supervisors, drive Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, manage ERP/MRP workflows, and influence annual planning and budgeting while building a high-performing culture and delivering measurable results.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate at least 5 years of leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Lead and develop teams while building engagement and culture.
• Apply experience with production planning and operational performance management.
• Utilize ERP/MRP or similar manufacturing systems in a production setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives.
• Develop production schedules, workforce plans, and resource allocation strategies to meet demand.
• Coach, mentor, and develop supervisors and personnel to build a high-performing culture.
• Monitor KPIs and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with quality, maintenance, supply chain, and customer-facing teams to improve outcomes.
• Champion Lean Manufacturing initiatives and support ERP platform implementation.

A typical day:

• Develop production schedules, workforce plans, and resource allocation strategies to meet customer demand
• Coach, mentor, and develop supervisors, coordinators, and manufacturing personnel to build a high-performing culture
• Monitor operational KPIs and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and performance
• Collaborate with quality, maintenance, supply chain, and customer-facing teams to resolve issues and improve outcomes
• Champion Lean Manufacturing initiatives and support the implementation of a new ERP platform

Requirements:

• Demonstrate at least 5 years of leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
• Lead and develop teams while building engagement, accountability, and strong workplace culture
• Apply experience with production planning, resource allocation, and operational performance management
• Utilize ERP, MRP, or similar manufacturing systems effectively in a production setting
• Implement Lean Manufacturing principles with Six Sigma certification or experience considered an asset
• Communicate effectively with strong organizational, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
