STARLINE WINDOWS LTD in Surrey, BC invites applications for the position of General labourer – manufacturing. The role involves transporting raw materials and finished products, weighing materials, sorting and packing, and assisting machine operators in a busy plant.

No formal education is required; training will be provided. Candidates must be fluent in English, able to lift up to 45 kg, work in dusty and noisy conditions, and maintain concentration during long shifts.

Qualifications

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• Training will be provided to the selected candidate.
• The candidate must be able to handle weight up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.

Responsibilities

• The candidate will be required to transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant either manually or using powered equipment.
• The candidate must check and weigh materials and products.
• The candidate must sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products.
• The candidate must assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers.
• The candidate will be required to perform other labouring and elemental activities.
• The candidate will be expected to clean machines and surrounding work areas.
