Job summary

North Star Railing Ltd. in Surrey, BC is seeking a general labourer – manufacturing to join our production team. The position is permanent, full-time, with 35 to 40 hours per week, starting as soon as possible.

Responsibilities include transporting materials and equipment around the plant, weighing and inspecting items, packing and shipping, assisting operators, and keeping work areas clean.

Requirements: fluent English, a high school diploma, and 1 to less than 7 months of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant.
• Check and weigh materials and products.
• Sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products.
• Assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers.
• Perform other labouring and elemental activities.
• Clean machines and surrounding work areas.
