The Manufacturing Engineering Intern will be a member of the Hardware Engineering department, with a primary focus on the creation of 3D models, drawings, bills of materials, assembly procedures, tooling, quality control test procedures & apparatus, and service documentation for IPG Canada's line of weld quality monitoring systems. They will work closely with assembly, quality control, and field service staff to ensure that all of this material is complete, accurate, and reflects the company's collective experience and best practices. As a secondary focus, this intern will assist in quality assurance processes, supplier qualification, first-article inspection, and root cause analysis of defects noted in production.
This is a 12 month professional intern position from September 2026 to August 2027. This is a full-time, on-site position at our Kingston, Ontario facility.
