Boston Scientific is offering a 12-month Manufacturing Engineering Associate internship at its Mississauga site. The role focuses on supporting manufacturing processes and equipment used for catheter assembly, in collaboration with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams.

The ideal candidate is an Engineering student or recent graduate with an interest in biomedical technology and hands-on problem solving, willing to work on-site five days a week.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in an Engineering degree or a recent Engineering graduate (Biomedical, Mechanical or similar).
• Strong interest in biomedical technology and manufacturing processes.
• Hands-on approach to problem solving in a production/lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing engineering support to production lines to resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for root cause investigations of production issues.
• Assist with process improvement activities to enhance manufacturing capability.
• Design and introduce manufacturing processes and tools to improve safety, quality, cost and efficiency.
• Assist in development and execution of process validation and test plans.
