Job summary

Siemens Healthineers Canada in Ottawa, Ontario, invites a Manufacturing Engineer Assistant (Coop) to join a hands-on engineering team. You will plan and execute experiments to support sensor development projects, and work with operations and lab staff to schedule experimental builds and test plans.

The role also involves creating and updating manufacturing documents, analyzing data with statistical methods, and presenting findings to engineers.

Qualifications

• Student in Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or another related field.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic statistical analysis.
• Preference for experience in manufacturing or engineering environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute experiments to support sensor development projects.
• Coordinate with operations and lab personnel to set schedules for experimental builds and test plans.
• Create and update manufacturing and process equipment documents.
• Compile and analyze data using statistical methods.
• Present project work to engineers and management.
• Assist in development and execution of validation protocols.
• Support routine data analysis and data presentation for engineering teams.
• Fill forms for interdepartmental communications to support engineering activities.
