  • Manage material optimization, refine product designs and manufacturing processes, and identify continuous‑improvement opportunities that increase efficiency and performance.

  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and cross‑disciplinary teams to resolve product issues and transition new products into regular production.

  • Develop virtual models using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and related software; support prototype and pre‑production fabrication; interpret testing requirements and conduct preliminary compliance testing, including BIFMA standards.

  • Produce technical documentation such as assembly and part drawings, manuals, and specification sheets.

  • Develop improved processes and tools while remaining current on industry trends, materials, technologies, engineering practices, environmental issues, and sustainable design principles.

Qualifications

  • Degree, diploma, or equivalent experience in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related discipline.

  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, manufacturing environment, or manufacturing processes.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with 2020 SolidWorks, including strong 3D modelling and detailed design skills.

  • Good project and time management skills, with experience handling multiple projects and priorities.

  • Experience with custom manufacturing work.

  • Experience creating, reading, and interpreting complex drawings.

  • Experience working with internal teams such as Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain.

  • Experience with customer-facing coordination, including reviewing order details, sign‑off drawings, and project support.
