Job summary

RTX (Raytheon) is seeking 50 Manufacturing Associates to join our Assembly and Production Departments in Midland, Ontario. This hands-on role supports our Operations team and offers collaboration with experienced professionals and cutting-edge technology.

You will gain hands-on experience with optical assembly, follow safety protocols, and maintain a positive workplace culture. Applicants must possess an Ontario Secondary School Diploma and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer literacy and confidence using technology.
  • Ability to understand technical issues and make sound decisions.
  • Comfortable working with the metric system.

Responsibilities

  • Learn to handle optics, read blueprints, and use measuring equipment.
  • Assemble products according to provided specifications.
  • Utilize calibrated equipment as part of the manufacturing process.
  • Follow workflow instructions from Supervision/Group Leads.
  • Use good visual acuity to identify imperfections in parts or assemblies.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Perform basic data entry and computer work.
  • Share in the commitment towards a positive workplace culture.
