Summary

Produce Magnetic bearing products by performing operational tasks in accordance with the QMS and EH&S policies/procedures and provided instructions, defined processes and procedures while identifying areas for improvement and assist with the implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble electronic/mechanical products according to established procedures and processes, ensuring workmanship, quality, and standards are met, and ERP/MRP system data is completed.
  • Perform tests on products following specific instructions, and accurately fill out documentation.
  • Conduct basic testing of assemblies & cables (Continuity, inductance, resistance, etc.) as per Test Instructions.
  • Participate in identifying improvements supporting lean manufacturing principles, reducing costs without affecting quality.
  • Inspect parts and assemblies as per procedures.
  • Populate, solder, and modify printed circuit boards to IPC standards.
  • Comply with ESD, 5S, EH&S, and ergonomic principles and procedures.
  • Perform other duties within skill level as required.

Requirements

  • Skills: Good soldering skills, effective communication, time management, organizational skills, attention to detail, self-motivated, independent work, decision-making, quality-driven.
  • Education: High School Diploma.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in manufacturing or related work.
  • Knowledge: Proficiency in Office tools, WHMIS, 5S, Lean manufacturing, IPC standards for soldering, reading 2D drawings, electrical/mechanical inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, DVMs, LCR meters).
