Line Operator (Food) | Full Time | Night Shift

The Role

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced line operator to join our production and packing team in a full-time capacity on the 12-hour night shift from 6PM–6AM. Working a 76-hour fortnight on a rotating roster which includes alternate weekend shifts. Located in Braeside, you will report to the Supervisor and be part of a hardworking, friendly team. In this role, you will monitor the automated bakery production line and work in the packaging department.

The Tasks

• Work in a state-of-the-art bakery production environment
• Monitor the production line and machines
• Identify and resolve production issues
• Liaise with maintenance to resolve complex issues
• Undertake thorough cleaning of the line between shifts and throughout the shift
• Pack products as required (including in cold environments)
• Clean the production line and surrounding areas

The Successful Candidate

• Previous experience as a line operator or similar role preferred
• Baker qualification or bakery experience preferred
• Access to on-the-job training
• Ability to lift up to 25kg
• Ability to stand and work in a repetitive environment
• Able to work in a fast-paced food production facility
• Full working rights essential
