Job summary

Infoya is expanding its Quality Engineering Services team in Toronto and seeks motivated individuals to start a career in software quality and testing.

You will design and execute test cases, perform functional and regression testing, identify defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues. The role involves Agile ceremonies and SDLC support, with a hybrid work arrangement in Toronto.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of manual software testing experience within Software Development project team.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipeline and defect management tools.
• Experience with different types of Testing (Manual, Front end, Web testing, UI, Regression, Functional, SIT, UAT).

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test cases and testing scenarios.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects.
• Work with developers and stakeholders to investigate and resolve issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups and sprint planning.
• Support SDLC processes.
• Help improve testing processes and quality standards.
• Maintain testing documentation and reporting.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2 days in office)

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science,Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  
• 2+years ofmanual software testing experience within Software Developmentproject team
  
• Experienceworking with CI\CD pipeline and defect management tools.
  
• Experiencewithdifferent typesof Testing (Manual, Front end, Web testing, UI,Regression, Functional, SIT, UAT)
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Test Automation experience with Selenium / webdriver IO / REST Assured/Postman or similar tools
  
• Hands onknowledgewith automationframeworks like Cucumber /Behaviour Driven Development/TDD/TestNG Test CaseDevelopment skills and experience with QA methodologies
  

Salary Range: $50,000 to $55,000 CAD/ year

The final compensation offered will depend on local marketconditions and geographic location, as well as job-related factors such as thecandidate’s knowledge, skills, qualifications, relevant experience, andeducation/training. Compensation may also include additional components such asbenefits, and/or other incentives, where applicable.
