Job summary

Infoya is seeking an Sr. QA Automation Test Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web, API, and enterprise applications.

You will collaborate with developers, product owners, and DevOps to enable CI/CD-driven testing and quality-first delivery, using Java and Python with Selenium and REST Assured. Qualifications

• 7+ years of Software testing experience within SoftwareDevelopment project team.
• 5+ years of Test Automation experience with Selenium/web driver IO/REST Assured/Postman or similar tools.
• Hands on with automation frameworks and building frameworks from scratch.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline and QA methodologies.
• Experience with manual, front end, web, UI, regression, functional, SIT, UAT testing.
• Strong communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Understanding project documents and product objectives to create and execute test cases.
• Setting up, maintaining, and performing TestAutomation frameworks.
• End-to-end automation; build frameworks from scratch where required.
• Collaborate with deployments teams and provide inputs on testability of product designs.
• Set up test automation across Desktop and Web platforms; build test scenarios and acceptance tests.
• Conduct end-to-end testing of interfaces and APIs; report results and defects.

About the Job:

We arelooking for an experienced Sr. QAAutomation Test Engineer todesign, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable automationframeworks. You will work closely with developers, product owners, and DevOpsteams to ensure high-quality delivery of modern web, API, and enterprise-gradeapplications. The ideal candidate will have strong automation frameworkdevelopment skills using Javaand Python , hands-on experience with Selenium , and solid expertise in APItest automation , with a quality-first mindset and astrong understanding of CI/CD-driven testing practices.

Position Responsibilities:

• Understanding project documents, business demands, andproduct objectives to create and execute test cases.
  
• Setting up, maintaining, and performing on TestAutomation frameworks.
  
• Work on end to end automation, and create frameworkfrom scratch where required
  
• Working with deployments teams, resolving level issuesfor systems, coordinating on product design, and offering inputs on thetestability of functional elements and product designs.
  
• Setting up, maintaining, and performing test automationframeworks on multiple application platforms, such as Desktop, and Web,and building test scenarios and acceptance tests.
  
• Conducts end to end testing including testing ofinterfaces & APIs and report results.
  
• Report, test and close defects.
  
• Document the procedures, standards, tech-stack, testarchitecture, framework and best practices.
  

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of Software testing experience within SoftwareDevelopment project team
  
• 5+ years of Test Automation experience with Selenium /web driver IO / REST Assured/Postman or similar tools
  
• Strong experience working on end to end automation andbuilding framework from scratch
  
• Hands on with automation frameworks like Cucumber/Behaviour Driven Development/TDD/TestNG Test Case Development skills andexperience with QA methodologies
  
• Experience working with CI\CD pipeline and defectmanagement tools.
  
• Experience with different types of Testing (Manual,Front end, Web testing, UI, Regression, Functional, SIT, UAT)
  
• Strong Communications Skills
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Workingknowledge of SAP web testing is added bonus
  

Salary Range:

$80,000 to $95,000 CAD/ year

The final compensation offered will depend on local marketconditions and geographic location, as well as job-related factors such as thecandidate’s knowledge, skills, qualifications, relevant experience, andeducation/training. Compensation may also include additional components such asbenefits, and/or other incentives, where applicable.
