Metal Fab LTD in North Bay, Canada, is seeking an experienced machinist for on-site production. The role involves reading engineering drawings, setting up and operating conventional and CNC machines, and ensuring parts meet tight tolerances.

You will document inspections, verify dimensions with micrometers and calipers, and contribute to a fast-paced manufacturing environment while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables.
Set up and adjust production machineries/tools.
Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance.
Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances.
Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports.
Verify dimensions of parts machined using micrometers, calipers and other precision instruments.
