BD Diesel is hiring a Production Technician in Abbotsford for a fully onsite role. You will support manufacturing operations, perform assembly and painting, operate machinery, and conduct quality inspections while maintaining a safe, organized, and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse or manufacturing environments is asset.
• Familiarity with painting processes using paint gun for manifolds and transmissions is desirable.
• Ability to use hand tools and follow technical instructions and specs.
• Strong focus on high-quality standards and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs, work orders, and drawings to meet production requirements.
• Prepare surfaces and apply paint to components with uniform coverage.
• Safely operate machines and maintain productivity and precision.
• Assemble products according to specifications and ensure quality.
• Package finished products securely for shipping and verify components.
• Inspect products to identify defects and report issues promptly.
• Collaborate with senior staff to align with production goals.
