BD Diesel Performance is hiring a Fuel Injector Technician I in Abbotsford. You will support disassembly, testing, preparation and packaging of fuel injectors in a fast-paced, team environment, ensuring products meet established quality standards.

This role requires strong attention to detail; mechanical aptitude is an asset, and training is provided. It is an onsite position with competitive wages and benefits, contributing to a safety-focused, collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical aptitude and interest in automotive or diesel systems is an asset.
• Experience working with an ERP is an asset.
• Basic math, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency using computers, scanners and tablets.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow established procedures and work under the direction of senior team members.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Tear down and prepare fuel injectors for testing and further processing.
• Perform valve setting and pop testing in accordance with established procedures.
• Measure injectors and perform armature lift measurements.
• Operate the 205 Test Bench in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
• Set up and operate the 815 Injector Test Bench in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
• Operate laser equipment as required.
• Inspect components and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards.
• Package finished goods for shipment or further processing.
• Follow standard work procedures and complete required documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
• Support team production goals and daily targets.
• Work effectively with team members and follow daily direction provided by the Team Lead and Supervisor.
• Participate in workplace safety, quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management to support operational needs and business objectives.
