Job summary

Piper Creek Veterinary Clinic in Red Deer, Alberta seeks an experienced veterinarian to move into the Managing Veterinarian (MDVM) role, leading our thriving, collaborative practice. This permanent, full-time position offers mentorship, medical direction, and a supportive community-focused environment.

You’ll oversee clinical operations, uphold the Standards of Care, and collaborate with the Hospital Leadership Team to drive growth and maintain high-quality care for patients and clients.

Qualifications

• Licensed veterinarian with Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and eligible for provincial licensure.
• Demonstrated leadership in a veterinary practice or similar setting.
• Experience providing medical direction and mentorship to a veterinary team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Managing Veterinarian role and oversee hospital operations.
• Provide medical direction and ensure adherence to the Standards of Care.
• Collaborate with Hospital Manager and Hospital Leadership Team on strategic goals.
