Job description

Manager, Workplace Wellness

NSLC

We are seeking a passionate leader dedicated to creating healthy, supportive workplaces to join our team. The Manager of Workplace Wellness will report to the Director of Responsibility, Sustainability and Workforce Health and will be responsible for designing and implementing NSLC’s comprehensive wellness strategy.

  1. Lead the development and execution of wellness initiatives that support mental health, work-life balance, safety, and overall well-being across the organization.
  2. Collaborate with leaders and staff to integrate wellness into policies, culture, and daily operations, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity.
  3. Manage wellness partnerships and evaluate program effectiveness, adapting strategies based on employee feedback and needs.
  4. Champion equity, diversity, and inclusion within wellness programs to ensure they are accessible to all employees.

The ideal candidate will have a background in wellness programming, occupational health, or human resources, with at least five years of experience in health and safety initiatives. A post-secondary education in human resources, health and wellness, psychology, or related fields is required. You should be a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, capable of engaging employees at all levels and fostering a collaborative, innovative environment.
