Job summary

Sysco Canada Inc. seeks a Warehouse Manager to lead day and night warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

You will manage a team of supervisors and associates, implement KPIs, drive continuous improvement, and ensure OSHA safety compliance in our Canada-based distribution network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline, or 4+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• 7+ years of experience in warehousing, including leadership of a team (≥2)

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and accurate order fulfillment, receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse productivity, reduce costs, and minimize errors.
• Implement and monitor KPIs to track warehouse performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Lead and manage a team of warehouse supervisors and associates.
• Conduct performance reviews, address employee concerns, and identify opportunities for team development.
• Foster a safe and productive work environment for all team members.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure OSHA safety compliance and company safety policies; conduct inspections and corrective actions.
• Technology & Innovation: Evaluate and implement warehouse management systems to improve efficiency and accuracy; leverage data for decisions.
• Budget & Resource Management: Contribute to development and management of the warehouse budget.

This role oversees all aspects of warehouse activities, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control, while driving operational excellence, ensuring safety compliance, and maximizing efficiency.

Responsibilities
